This course is developed to develop your skills as a strength-based professional in your sphere of influence and your field of leadership, management and counselling. Its theory is based solely on Biblical perspective of the renewal of strength, conciliation based on strength and constructive psychology.
The course consists of four modules.
“Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure” – Marianne Williamson
This quote expresses the truth of the power and strength that lies within us when we are equipped with constructive psychology that encourages our growth, and develops self-government and resilience.
Each module is designed to build your self-awareness in relation to your strengths and weaknesses. In addition, it is fashioned to ensure you feel empowered to be all God has called you to be. This enables you to influence the life of others also.
In order to make the most of your strength, one must be aware of, encounter and accept their weaknesses. This awareness will be realised through studying the Bible’s position on our strength, and your introduction to constructive psychology.
How you view yourself shapes every facet of your life. This module will focus on your inner strength as well as the strength of your relationships to ensure you fulfil purpose.
This involves an exploration of the contribution of neurology, the study of the brain, to your thriving as a strengthened soul and being. We will investigate the origin of destructive thought processes and emotions.
Living in fear means living in a state of weakness. Having explored the theory of strength in relation to you, we will highlight practical measures and disciplines you can implement to reach our vision of making you a strength-based professional.
The course will be delivered virtually in an open learning format incorporating home based distance learning
